To our valued customers:

It has come to our attention that a post alluded to us was posted online via Marketplace: Goa. In the said post, the customer complained of a plain chocolate cake bought during New Year’s eve. As per the customer, he/she paid in full but just received a plain cake. In the spirit of fairness, we feel the need to explain our side. We would like to clarify that we DO NOT sell decorated cakes on peak seasons like Christmas and New Year, a practice our regular customers are well aware of. The volume of orders makes it nearly impossible to personalize each cake. Furthermore, we make it clear UPON ORDER that we only offer plain chocolate cake and cake toppers and candy sprinkles are available for an additional ₱10.00. It is unfair and malicious to accuse us of misdelivering our services when it was what they paid for to begin with.

In this regard, may we ask our customers to please directly contact us for any concerns instead of resorting to public humiliation. We would also like to remind you to please exercise caution when commenting and verify facts first before throwing accusations. We are more than willing to offer compensation if we are at fault. However, we do not condone fake news and blatant lies. Let us not normalize arrogance and rudeness masked in convenient anonymity. We take our reputation seriously, and every feedback, good or bad, is welcome, but we draw the line when the truth is at stake.

We also call on the administration of the group
𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞: 𝐆𝐎𝐀 to practice utmost care, discretion and scrutiny when allowing posts within its group as they can affect or smear a business’ name. Deleting a post does not magically erase the damage that has already been inflicted.

We are a small home business and we are far from perfect, but we always strive to serve our customers the best way we can.
