An oil refinery on Iran’s Lavan Island was struck in a suspected “enemy attack” just hours after the new US–Iran ceasefire officially took effect, immediately testing the limits of the fragile truce.

Iranian officials say the strike triggered a massive fire at the facility but reported no casualties, as emergency crews rushed to contain the flames and protect vital energy infrastructure.
