Last April 24, 2026, the students of BSED English 1A under NSTP – CWTS 2 brought growth and greener opportunities to Barangay Bagong Barrio through the “Gulayan sa Barangay” project, together with their NSTP adviser, Ma’am Krizia Alyssa Mae F. Pantaleon.

More than planting vegetables, the activity planted hope, unity, and environmental awareness within the community. Through teamwork and service, the students continue to embody the true spirit of volunteerism and community engagement.

This April 22, 2026, the World Citi Colleges Guimba Campus – Community Extension and Services Office proudly joins the global celebration of Earth Day with a renewed commitment to protect and preserve our environment.

With this year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” we are reminded that tunay na nasa atin ang kakayahan to shape a cleaner and more sustainable future. From reducing our dependence on fossil fuels to supporting renewable energy, bawat hakbang natin—kahit gaano kaliit—ay may malaking epekto sa ating mundo.

As one community, we encourage everyone to take part in building climate resilience and promoting environmental responsibility. Sama-sama nating pangalagaan ang ating kalikasan for the next generations.
