𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐘 || Falling through the Light

I thought I was getting better,
that grades and lessons
were finally getting easier.

But here I am again,
falling behind deadlines,
struggling with pages I can’t finish,
lessons I can’t hold on to.

Others seem to rise.
I’m still falling.

The light feels close,
understanding, progress, relief,
but every time I reach for it,
it slips away.

Why does trying feel like failing?
Why does effort feel so small
against everything expected of me?

Still, a small hope remains,
maybe next time,
my wings won’t break,
and I can reach the light
without fear of falling again.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 || College of Communication and Information Technology (CCIT) Development, Innovation, and Growth for Information Technology Students (DIGITS) spearheaded DevDuos, a learning workshop for Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSInfoTech) students, held at the CCIT Laboratory 3, October 24.

Mr. Ian Kyle Felix Maghinay, a system developer, was invited to serve as guest lecturer for C # WinForms CRUD Application Development, a career-oriented training.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 || Future Professionals: A Webinar on Business Analytics and Internet of Things by CCIT X COE (BSCpE)

Faculty members and students gathered in the Communication and Information Technology (CCIT) Building for an online webinar entitled "Shaping Future-Ready Professionals: Business Analytics and Internet of Things (IoT)," October 21, a collaborative webinar of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSINFOTECH), and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) departments.

Dr. Menchie Artates Dela Cruz, Dean of CCIT, delivered her opening remarks, emphasizing the goal of the webinar focusing on the significance of staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving technology.

"This webinar is to inspire us, to put our knowledge into action.", she said.

Dr. Roy N. Villalobos, University President of PRMSU, shared an inspirational message on the event and emphasized PRMSU's commitment on the innovative changes of technology.

"As we embrace the era of digital transformation, we must cultivate in our students and educators the mindset of innovators and problem solvers.", Pres Roy said.

"PRMSU stands firm in its commitment to prepare our learners to be future-ready, equipped with technical skills, creativity, critical thinking, and ethical grounding to ensure that innovation leads to meaningful impact.", he added.

In the morning session, Dr. Vladimir Y. Mariano, Lecturer for Technology and Innovation, examined how artificial intelligence (AI) permeates every aspect of our lives and demonstrates how data-driven decision-making is becoming more and more important in a variety of industries.

In order to illustrate the usefulness of business analytics and highlights, Dr. Mariano presented case studies and real-world examples.

Furthermore, Dr. Arnel C. Fajardo, Dean of the College of Computing Science, Information and Communication Technology at Isabela State University, Cauayan Campus, Isabela, delivered his topic in the afternoon session, tackling IoT in the environment and lives of humans, which includes its kind and architecture.

Dr. Nemia Galang, Director for Instruction, concluded the program and delivered its closing remarks, leaving an encouragement to the all the participants of the online webinar.

"We hope this session has sparked to you new ideas, challenged all innovation, and encouraged you to explore how you can apply these concepts in your own professional journey.", Dr. Galang said.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 || PRMSU's Medal Layout Design clinched 1st Runner-up in RAITE 2025

The President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) claimed 1st Runner-up in the Medal Layout Design Competition at the Regional Assembly on Information Technology Education (RAITE) 2025, held at the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) - Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, October 17.

Lovely Joyce A. Palmarin's design layout secured a top 5 spot in the PRMSU Medal Design competition and later advanced to the top 3, ultimately winning 1st runner-up and claiming a podium finish.
