NONTHABURI, THAILAND | ProPak Asia 2026 officially opened today at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Thailand bringing together industry leaders, technology providers, and business stakeholders from across Asia to showcase the latest advancements in food processing, packaging, and related industries.
Representing the Province of Isabela are key officials from the Provincial Government of Isabela (PGI), led by Provincial Administrator Atty. Christopher C. Mamauag; together with Hon. Mayor Mila A. Albano of Cabagan, Atty. Paul Angelo R. Uy, Provincial Economic Development and Investments Officer; Ms. Teresa F. Respicio, Provincial Budget Officer; Ms. Joanne D. Maranan, Provincial Tourism Officer; and Dr. Derrick M. Viscarra, Assistant General Services Officer.
Joining the delegation are representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Isabela, namely Maria Filomena G. Magauay, Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist; Maria Corazon C. Mamuri, Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist; and Jillean M. Flores, Trade-Industry Development Specialist.
Also participating are local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Isabela: Mr. Roy Amurao of RMEAZ Food Products, Ms. Marilyn D. Santiago of Marcos VenturesโMasaganang Ani Isabela Agriculture Cooperative, and Mr. Samuel Cariรฑo of Agricom Best Foods Corporation.
As one of Asiaโs premier trade exhibitions for processing and packaging technologies, ProPak Asia 2026 showcases state-of-the-art equipment and innovative solutions designed to address the evolving needs of MSMEs. Through this learning and benchmarking mission, the Isabela delegation will explore advanced technologies in food processing, packaging, labeling automation, and quality assurance systems that can enhance product quality, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the competitiveness of local products in both domestic and international markets.
The delegation expresses its sincere gratitude to Governor Rodolfo T. Albano III, Vice Governor Francis Faustino A. Dy, DTI Regional Director Maria Sofia G. Narag, and DTI Acting Provincial Director Atty. Cyrus I. Restauro for their unwavering support and continued commitment to fostering innovation, enterprise development, and market competitiveness among Isabela's MSMEs.
This participation reflects the shared vision of the Provincial Government of Isabela and DTI in empowering local enterprises through technology adoption, capacity building, and exposure to global industry trends, paving the way for a more resilient and competitive MSME sector in the province.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Isabela, through Negosyo Centers Tumauini and Cabagan, provided Financial Literacy and Basic Bookkeeping Training to members of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs)on 20 May 2026 in Tumauini. The activity aimed to enhance participants' knowledge of financial management and proper record-keeping, helping them effectively manage and sustain their livelihood projects.
