A child is running around the classroom.
A child keeps roaming instead of joining the lesson.
A child does not want to sit on the chair or mat.
A child does not join group activities.
A child climbs on chairs or tables.
A child refuses to write.
A child grabs toys from classmates.
Classmates do not want to play with the child.
Classmates push the child away.
These are just some of the real situations that can happen inside a classroom.
These behaviors are not simply "phases" to ignore, nor are they always signs of a child being stubborn, naughty, or difficult. More often than not, they are indicators that a child needs support, guidance, and intervention.
When these situations are left unaddressed, the child may miss opportunities to learn, build friendships, develop independence, and successfully participate in school life.
As parents, educators, and professionals, it is our responsibility to recognize these challenges and provide the right support as early as possible.
Our ausome kids deserve more than understandingโthey deserve the tools, strategies, and support that will help them succeed.
The goal is not just for them to be present in the classroom.
The goal is for them to learn, participate, belong, and thrive.
Little moments, big milestones. Learning our letters and numbers one step at a time.

Our kind of Wednesday
๐ Speak Up & Pass! ๐
Today, our little learners practiced their communication skills with a fun, fast-paced language game! By simply saying a word and passing the ball to a friend, our kiddos are building:
โจ Confidence to speak clearly in front of a group
โจ Patience through turn-taking
โจ Vocabulary & focus while having an absolute blast!
Itโs amazing how much learning happens through simple, joyful play. Swipe to see their proud smiles! ๐๐ธ

Today, we practiced receptive language and following multi-step directions! The goal of the activity was for him to listen closely to the teacherโs instructions and follow the sequence: putting the apple inside the net first, followed by the lemon.
Processing spoken steps and executing them in the right order is a huge milestone for cognitive development and focus. He did an amazing job listening and following through! ๐๐๐

๐ Learning how things work, one step at a time! ๐
Today, we practiced sequencing and logical thinking! The goal of this activity was for Summer to arrange the daily steps of preparing and eating an apple in the correct chronological order (1, 2, 3) using these visual cards.
By matching the actions, Wash, Cut, and Eat with the numbers, she's not only building early math and reading progression skills but also strengthening her daily life skills and vocabulary. Look at that concentration! Super proud of my little learner. ๐ฅฐโจ
