Over 90,000 Filipino Workers Secure Homes as Pag-IBIG Releases P140.54 Billion in Housing Loans

More Filipino workers are securing decent and affordable homes as Pag-IBIG Fund's housing loan releases reached P140.54 billion in 2025, an 8% increase from P129.73 billion in 2024.

The milestone benefited 90,727 members nationwide, enabling them to purchase homes, finance construction, or undertake renovation and improvement of their properties.

Of the total, 7,056 socialized housing units were financed by the agency worth P7.63 billion, with borrowers enjoying a subsidized 3% rate making monthly amortizations more affordable. The agency also financed 4,811 housing units worth P6.2 billion through its 4.5% promotional rate for loans of up to P1.8 million.

As the country’s largest source of home mortgage financing, Pag-IBIG Fund continues to support the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program to increase access to quality and affordable housing, particularly for minimum wage earners and middle-income members.
