🚨 FAKE MOCAMOCA PAGES & LOAN APPS ALERT 🚨
⚠️ Copperstone Lending Supports SEC Crackdown on Fraudulent Online Lending Pages, Copycat Apps, and Fake MocaMoca Accounts
Consumers are strongly advised to be careful when searching online for “MocaMoca Loan App,” “Online Loan Philippines,” “Quick Cash Loan App,” and similar lending platforms after the SEC intensified its crackdown against fake online lending pages and unauthorized copycat apps impersonating legitimate lending companies.
Copperstone Lending Inc., the company behind the legitimate MocaMoca platform, expressed support for the SEC’s ongoing actions against fraudulent operators using fake pages, unauthorized websites, and misleading online advertisements to deceive borrowers and collect personal information.
Among the fake pages identified were unauthorized pages using variations of the MocaMoca brand name, including:
❌ “Moca Moca - fast peso loan app”
❌ “Moca Moca - Online Loan App”
❌ “MocaMoca - Quick Cash Loan App”
❌ “MocaMoca - Loan app Philippines”
⚠️ IMPORTANT: These pages are NOT connected to the legitimate MocaMoca platform of Copperstone Lending Inc.
“The proliferation of fake pages and copycat online lending entities creates confusion among borrowers and unfairly affects legitimate operators that comply with Philippine regulations,” said Copperstone Lending Inc. CEO David Balamon.
“We support the SEC’s ongoing efforts to protect consumers and crack down on unauthorized operators abusing legitimate brand names,” he added.
Copperstone Lending reminds the public to:
✅ Verify online lending platforms before submitting personal information
✅ Download apps only from legitimate app marketplaces
✅ Transact only through official and verified channels
✅ Report suspicious lending pages and fake loan apps
