OBA CHALET
The Vacation Glasshouse

Location: Quezon Province

“Oba Chalet” creates a compelling aesthetic by blending traditional alpine elements with contemporary materials. It draws inspiration from a traditional chalet house, the origins of seasonal workers’ typical cottages or log cabins in the mountains. This modern chalet design artfully combines steel, glass, and wood to create a sleek yet warm characteristic, creating a home that coexists well with the surroundings.

Throughout the interior, the main room consists of a high vaulted ceiling with a cozy conversation lounge. Upstairs, there is a loft space for privacy and a space for moments of solitude. Combining living, dining, and kitchen areas ensures families and guests can easily gather. Take in the views while sipping coffee from sunrise to sunset reflected in the glass that captures nature’s masterpiece. This design aspect encourages a seamless transition between the relaxation of indoor amenities and the beauty of the surrounding nature.
