Madalas, sa labis na pag-aalala sa sitwasyon ng iilan, nakakalimutan natin ang mas malawak na epekto sa nakararami. Sa kaso ng mga nagtitinda sa bangketa, mayroon itong mga negatibong epekto:
1. Di patas na kumpetisyon, Ang mga nagbabayad ng buwis sa loob ng palengke ay nalulugi dahil mas pinipili ng mga mamimili ang mga nagtitinda sa bangketa na walang bayarin.
2. Kalat at Amoy, Nagdudulot ito ng dumi at masangsang na amoy sa mga pampublikong lugar.
3. Nagpapalala ito ng trapiko, lalo na during rush hours.

𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 | Isabela City Local Government, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman, was recognized during the Environmental Awards Night 2025, held on November 13 in Zamboanga City.

The City was honored with the 2025 Eco-Innovation Excellence Award by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources–Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) IX for its exceptional implementation of multiple initiatives such as the Sea Sweepers, Isabela B.R.I.C.K.S Program, and C.L.E.A.N. Program, implemented by the City General Services Office led by CGS Officer Eugene B. Strong.These waste diversion programs exemplify the city's steadfast commitment to coastal protection, waste diversion, environmental education, and sustainable resource management.

CENR Officer Forester Albino B. Orbecido, SWM Division Chief Saddam Y. Lagoyo, and Community Affairs Associate Anna M. Sahibil accepted the award on behalf of the LGU of Isabela City. (Words by E. Obedencia)
