𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗢𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱: 𝗨𝗦𝗠 𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗘 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮 𝟯-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿

From March 16 to 18, 2026, Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSEcE) students from the University of Southern Mindanao embarked on a 3-day academic tour designed to bring their classroom knowledge into real-world application. The activity was conducted under the guidance of Engr. Marc Macbeth M. Toledo, with the support of Engr. Geraldo P. Ulep, who were present throughout the tour and actively guided the students during the visits.

Throughout the three-day tour, students had the opportunity to visit key industry players and review centers, including TESCO Power Measurements, Duck-Il Korea Incorporated, UNOTEL Electronics Inc., Excel Review Center, CERTC ECE Review Center, and Morph ECE Review Center. Each visit offered valuable exposure to current technologies, workplace practices, and the diverse career paths available in the field of electronics engineering.

In addition to the scheduled visits, the students, together with their faculty, also took time to visit and show support to the examinees taking the Electronics Engineering Board Exam—an inspiring moment that connected the students to their future goals as aspiring licensed engineers.

More than just an academic requirement, the tour served as a meaningful experience that allowed students to connect theory with practice, gain industry insights, and envision their future as professionals in the field. It also strengthened camaraderie among the participants, fostering teamwork and a shared sense of purpose as they move closer to becoming licensed engineers.

The department also extends its sincere appreciation to World of Adventure Travel and Tours (WATT) for their support in ensuring a smooth, engaging, and memorable academic journey.
