𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 officially started its journey toward the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 today, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟎𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 gathered in the lobby for a General Assembly to discuss goals, coordination, logistics, and strategies.

During the meeting, the body reviewed shared plans to ensure the team is ready to win. The lobby was full of excitement as student leaders and classmates worked together on competitive strategies. With the game plan now ready, the college is moving fast to ensure everyone is at their best.

The message is clear: the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is not just joining to play; they are here to lead and conquer. The countdown to the gold begins now! 🏆🔥

𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦: 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐢 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭

A moment of pride and celebration filled the academic community as 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮, a first-year Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English and Assistant Executive Secretary of the Local Student Government, secured 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗶 𝗕𝗮𝗶 𝗛𝗮𝗱𝗷𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴: 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 – 𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁.

The competition was held yesterday, April 13, 2026, at the University of Southern Mindanao-Auditorium, gathering young writers who paid tribute to the life and legacy of Bai Hadja Matabay Plang.

Genova’s entry, titled “𝘽𝘼𝙡𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙚𝙞𝙡: 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙞’𝙨 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙘𝙮; 𝙍𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮,” earned praise for its clarity, sincerity, and thoughtful storytelling. His essay reflected on Mother Bai’s enduring influence, portraying her as a symbol of strength, wisdom, and transformative leadership whose legacy continues to inspire today’s generation.

This achievement marks an encouraging milestone in Genova’s journey as both an aspiring educator and writer. His recognition not only highlights his dedication to academic excellence but also affirms the power of young voices to honor history through meaningful and heartfelt expression.

The university community warmly congratulates Genova for this remarkable accomplishment and celebrates the promise he brings as a future teacher and storyteller.
