Reminding all USM Math Enthusiasts that the Registration for the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗔𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵: 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘 is open until Monday, April 24, 2023 at 5PM. Online Registration is still the mode of registration.

Most medical tests occasionally produces incorrect results, called false positive and false negative. False positive result happens when a test indicates that a patient has a disease when in fact does not have it, while a false negative result indicates that a patient does not have a disease when in reality the patient does have it.

Mathematics also plays a huge role in the medical field. It bridges the gap by ensuring the accuracy and validity of different measurements in clinical practice such as diagnostic tests.
