𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 | 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔
“𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐬”

A day filled with joy, laughter, and surrender. From dancing to Jana Alayra’s action songs, singing our hearts out in worship, to listening and reflecting on God’s Word, it reminded us of one truth:

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀.

“I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” The old self is gone. The pride, the control, the life lived for self, nailed to the cross.

And now, a new life begins… a Christ-controlled life. So the question remains, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿?

FBCians, may our lives reflect total surrender, not just a part, but everything for Him.

None for us. None for us. But Jesus. ☝🏻

𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

We build our lives as if they belong to us, holding onto our plans, chasing our own timelines, trying to become who we think we’re meant to be. We say, “this life is mine,” and we live like it is.

But somewhere in the quiet, truth finds us. We have been crucified with Christ, and the life we now live is no longer ours alone. What we hold so tightly was never meant to be kept, it was always meant to be surrendered.

This year’s 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 will be held on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟰–𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝗙𝗕𝗖 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺. Each day will have two sessions: 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠–𝟭𝟭:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠) and 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 (𝟭:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠–𝟰:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠).

Come, FBCians, and join us as we worship, reflect, and grow together. Let His Word speak, His presence restore, and His truth remind us who we truly belong to. Because even as we say, “𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚,” it is, and will always be, 𝙃𝙞𝙨.
