ROTARY CLUB OF KALIBO

🌟 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗮𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹! 🌟

The ROTARY CLUB OF KALIBO delivered part of the much-awaited equipment for the Tech-Voc Department of Altavas National School in Altavas, Aklan. 🎓✨

Representing RCK were Past President Jayr Villaruel and Rotarian Mark Joy Dela Cruz, who personally turned over the TV sets and refrigerators that will be used in the different learning stands of the Tech-Voc classrooms.

Receiving the appliances on behalf of the school was Ms. Terry Jane Peñano.

This initiative is part of 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝟮𝟰𝟱𝟵𝟳𝟭𝟭, a meaningful project that strengthens education and supports skills development for young learners. Grants like this allow clubs like ours to create lasting, high-impact change in our communities.

This is just a partial delivery, the rest of the materials are on the way, and we look forward to completing the full set soon.

🌟 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱. 🌟

Last night at the ROTARY CLUB OF KALIBO Livelihood & Training Center, we gathered for a meaningful celebration of The Rotary Foundation Month, a night filled with purpose, gratitude, and stories that remind us why we choose to serve.

The highlight of the evening was the heartfelt moment 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻 received his Major Donor regalia — the recognition crystal, lapel pin, and pendant — symbols of a lifetime commitment to doing good in the world.

But what moved the room most was his message… simple, powerful, and lived out fully: “𝙉𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙮 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜.” - Anne Frank

Spoken from experience, his words reminded us that generosity is not about abundance…
It’s giving with purpose.
It’s serving with sincerity.
It’s leading by example, not just words…something PP Vady has done quietly, consistently, and wholeheartedly.

He shared this milestone surrounded by his loving family, who also celebrated their November birthdays with us as our gracious dinner hosts. The night became more than a recognition ceremony, it became a celebration of legacy, a reminder that when a family embraces service, blessings overflow across generations.

Congratulations & thank you for inspiring us, PP Vady! May his example inspire more Rotarians and friends to make the Rotary Foundation their foundation of choice, so we can keep changing lives, one act of generosity at a time.

🌟 𝗥𝗖𝗞 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 🌟

Last November 25, 2025, the ROTARY CLUB OF KALIBO celebrated a night that reminded us why The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is truly the heart of our service.

𝗣𝗣 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 inspired us with her talk on 𝙐𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙍𝙁 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, showing why honoring contributions matters. It celebrates generosity, inspires others to give, and strengthens the impact of Rotary projects worldwide.

One line that stayed with everyone:
“𝘎𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨 — 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶.”

Whether it’s time, resources, or support, generosity returns multiplied in ways we never expect. When we give selflessly, we don’t just help others … we enrich our own lives with purpose, joy, and fulfillment.

The night overflowed with inspiring stories. PP Vady Marin shared his journey to becoming a Major Donor, showing that giving is not only a choice but a commitment to positive change. 𝗥𝘁𝗻. 𝗪𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁, another Major Donor, reminded us that every act of generosity ripples far beyond what we can see.

Our TRF Chair, 𝗣𝗗𝗚 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗰𝗼, also a Major Donor, honored the Paul Harris Fellows and Major Donors … a testament that service and generosity are celebrated, remembered, and carried forward. 𝗣𝗣 𝗩𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻 was recognized as the newest Major Donor of RC Kalibo, a milestone that inspires all of us to keep giving.

The message was clear: giving is not about what we lose, but about the countless lives we touch and the hope we create. Every act becomes part of a legacy, a boomerang of goodness that always returns.
