Joint Technical Working Group (TWG) & Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) Meeting – Aklan PPO

On December 11, 2025, PLTCOL RICKY E BONTOGON, DPDA, together with the PAGPTD Chair PLTCOL ARIEL N NACAR (RET.) and some members, convened at the Aklan PPO Conference Hall, Camp Pastor Martellino, Kalibo, Aklan, under the supervision of PCOL ARNEL RAMOS, Provincial Director.

The meeting covered the Operations Review, proposed PAGPTD activities for 2026, uniform designs for officers and members, and the updated Measure and Initiative Profiles.

PAGPTD Chair Nacar emphasized the Advisory Group's vital role and diverse composition, highlighting their potential contributions to the APPO community. He advised the body to actively maintain their connection and appreciate their presence.

On the other hand, TWG Chair PLTCOL BONTOGON emphasized strengthening partnerships between the PNP and PAGPTD through the 4Cs—Commitment, Communication, Collaboration, and Consistency.

Aklan PAGPTD Joins RAGPTD 6 Year-End Meeting and Fellowship

The Aklan Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) participated in the Year-End Meeting and Fellowship of the Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (RAGPTD) 6 on December 9, 2025, at the Ruby Hall Ballroom, Grand Xing, Iloilo City. The activity gathered members of the Regional and Provincial Advisory Groups, together with RPSMU personnel.

The gathering served as a venue to present the accomplishments of advisory groups for 2025, strengthen partnerships, and reinforce collective support for ongoing transformation initiatives of the Philippine National Police in Western Visayas.

The Aklan PAGPTD was represented by Chairman PLTCOL Ariel Nacar (Ret.) and Vice Chair for External Affairs Mr. Mark Anthony Dolinog, CPA, who joined fellow members from across the region in the year-end fellowship.

The event concluded with strengthened camaraderie and a renewed commitment to continue supporting transparent, accountable, and community-centered policing efforts in the region.
