Better public spaces, such as broader and shaded sidewalks for social interaction, can also result in enhanced access to basic products and services, which can lead to a rise in commercial activity in the neighborhood.

These early proposed concepts were developed in collaboration with designers, urban mobility professionals, and regular commuters who have experienced both the difficulties and the underlying beauty of Manila.
