Robo On Wheels

𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭.

This Robotics Week, we reflected on what robotics truly means to us. It goes beyond circuits and code. It is about the responsibility of creating something that can shape lives, influence communities, and inspire the next generation.

We celebrated in the simplest way we know how: through quiet encounters with young minds, where we shared, learned, and were reminded of why we started.

𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. Not just to innovate, but to solve real problems, to make things more accessible, and to leave something meaningful behind.

At Robowheels, we believe robotics is not just about what we can create, but about why we create it, and most importantly, who we create it for.

From every community we visited, these learners rose to the challenge, emerging as Speed Cube Champions and now 2026 Regional Robolution Semi-Finalists.

Site 3: Sitio Patel, Brgy. Gupitan, Kapalong

Reaching Kapalong meant traveling over 100 kilometers through mountainous roads, going beyond where technology usually reaches. And yet, what we found there was a community full of openness, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn. This initiative is rooted in a simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to explore, learn, and imagine what’s possible.

We are deeply grateful to Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (KCAST), the Kapalong LGU, and Patel Elementary School for welcoming us. 𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐨’𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠 𝐨𝐠 𝐝𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐮𝐬𝐨𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧.

Throughout the day, learners, together with their families, were able to engage with different robotics systems. For many, it was their first time interacting with these technologies—and that moment of discovery is exactly why Robowheels exists.

Alongside this, we also held a short workshop with the College of Agriculture students of KCAST, introducing them to agricultural robotics. Through a hands-on activity using Arduino modules, they were able to take their first step into how technology can support smarter farming.

More than anything, this experience reminded us that meaningful innovation happens when it reaches people—where they are, as they are.

We move forward with the same commitment: to keep going, to keep reaching communities, and to keep creating spaces where learning becomes possible.

It’s inspiring to see teachers and students actively engaging together with our interactive learning materials for automation and robotics. You can see the joy on the teachers’ faces as their students carefully study and think through the robotics system. They happily explore and play mind games while learning at the same time.

Site 1: Marsman Elementary School and Marsman National High School — Unlocked 🦾

After three years, we’re back in the community for another round of engagement. It was heartwarming to see the students’ reactions from the laughter, excitement, and genuine curiosity as they interacted with the Robowheels laboratory trainers, robots, and mind games. Questions kept coming as their curiosity was sparked, and their smiles gave us a deep sense of fulfillment in our mission.

For many of them, it was their first time interacting with robots. Who knows? One of these young learners might one day design a robot that helps solve real societal problems, simply because they were introduced to the basic ideas of how robots work today.

We also met parents who enthusiastically support their children’s interest in building and playing with Legos at home. As Fr. Karel once said, “Education should not be fixed; it should be mobile.”

RoboWheels will serve as a mobile innovation hub where participants can:

• Explore emerging technologies in robotics, electronics, and advanced manufacturing.
• Play through hands-on activities that make complex concepts easier to understand.
• Discover how innovation can solve everyday problems.

This phase highlights the importance of experiential learning — where curiosity leads to experimentation, and experimentation leads to understanding.

RoboWheels represents the idea that innovation should not stay inside laboratories or classrooms. Instead, it should travel, reach new spaces, and inspire learners to imagine, build, and create solutions for real-world challenges.
