Wrapped up the three-day session on “Building Farmers’ Resilience to Climate Change: A Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Planning Workshop” with smiles, strengthened knowledge, and farmers ready to adapt and build resilience against climate change. 🌍☘️🍍

The activity concluded with a graduation ceremony that commended the participants for their active participation and dedication throughout the training.

IN PHOTOS‼️ Labo Progressive Multi Purpose Cooperative in partnership with Trias Southeast Asia conducted a three day workshop on BUILDING FARMERS ' RESILIENCE TO CLIMATE CHANGE: A Disaster Risk Reduction - Climate Change Adaptation Planning for farmers held from May 6-7, 2026 at Hut Spot Tulay Na Lupa, Labo, Camarines Norte.

The objective of this workshop is to deepen the participants’ understanding of both adaptation and mitigation strategies. Specifically, it aims to enhance their understanding of the key concepts of weather, climate, and climate change, as well as hazards, exposure, risk, and vulnerability. It also seeks to identify the impacts of climate change, strengthen coping and adaptive capacities, and support the participants in developing their individual Climate Change Adaptation Plans.

This workshop successfully enhanced the knowledge and awareness of the participants on climate change and climate-resilient agriculture. Through the activity, the participants were able to identify appropriate adaptation strategies and formulate their own Climate Change Adaptation Plans that can help improve their preparedness and resilience against climate-related risks and hazards. 🌿🌍📝
