📢Important Announcement: Clarification on School Year Schedule and Tuition Fees, against complaint lodged on the 8888 Citizens’ Complaint Hotline📢

Dear Parents, Guardians, Teachers, and Staff of InChrist Learning Center Inc..,

We hope this message finds you well. We would like to address and clarify some concerns that have been raised regarding the current school year, particularly regarding the school schedule, the extension of classes until May, and the associated tuition fees for the months of April and May.

1. School Year Schedule and the 200-Day Requirement:

As a private institution, InChrist Learning Center Inc. operates with the flexibility to set our own academic calendar, as long as we fulfill the 200 school days required by the Department of Education (DepEd). For the 2024-2025 academic year, we began classes on August 5, 2024, and we will conclude on May 27, 2025, ensuring that we meet the mandated number of school days.

While the extension of classes into May may seem different from the schedule of other schools, we have adhered to DepEd’s regulations, including allowances for class suspensions and holidays throughout the academic year. Therefore, concluding our school year on the scheduled date of May 27, 2025.

2. Impact of the 2025 School Year Shift to June:

As you may know, the Philippine government has officially shifted the start of the school year to June, starting in 2025, as per DepEd Order No. 012, s. 2025. This change has caused the summer break for our school’s not only students but also members of the faculty and staff to be shorter this year.

In light of this, our school year still continues as initially planned, and InChrist Learning Center Inc. will conclude on May 27, 2025, in accordance with our school’s established calendar.

3. Tuition Fees for April and May:

Regarding the tuition fees for the months of April and May 2025, we would like to clarify that these fees are part of the standard structure for the school year as agreed upon during enrollment. Since our school year runs through the month of May, the corresponding tuition fees reflect this period. These fees are necessary to cover the educational services provided to students through the end of the school year.

4. Commitment to Quality Education:

We understand that this extended schedule may cause concern, particularly regarding the upcoming break before the next school year begins in June. Please be assured that our school year was planned with the utmost care to ensure our students complete the required curriculum and receive the full educational experience. We remain committed to providing a high-quality education and ensuring that each student has the opportunity to thrive.
