LNHS Disaster Risk Reduction and Management - DRRM Club

March 14, 2026 | CLEAN- UP DRIVE ACTIVITY

A clean-up drive organized by MENRO was conducted on March 14, 2026, with MDRRMO, the DRRM of Leganes National High School, and Leganes Dragons Dragon Boat Teaminvited to participate in the activity.

The clean-up started at Leganes Plaza and continued along the road up to Cagamutan Sur. Volunteers worked together in collecting and properly disposing of waste to help maintain the cleanliness of the surroundings and promote environmental awareness in the community.

Thank you to MENRO for organizing this initiative and for inviting the DRRM of Leganes National High School, and LEGANES DRAGONS to be part of this meaningful activity. Your effort and dedication are truly appreciated.🌱💚

A tree planting activity was organized by the 3rd Civil Military Operations (Peace Maker) Battalion CMOR PA in Brgy. Nabitasan, Leganes, Iloilo, in Katunggan. The event was held in partnership with MDRRMO, MENRO, and other participating organizations to promote environmental awareness and encourage the community to care for nature.

Thank you to the 3rd Civil Military Operations (PEACEMAKER) Battalion CMOR PA, MENRO, MDRRMO, and all the participating organizations and volunteers for their dedication and active participation in this meaningful activity. Many families have lost their homes, belongings, and basic necessities due to this unfortunate event. In this time of hardship, they need our support more than ever.

• Old but usable clothes (for children and adults)

In celebration of the 60th Founding Anniversary of Leganes National High School, the DRRM volunteers stepped forward to serve as medics and assist in crowd management during the event. As the school marked this special milestone, the team stayed attentive and prepared to respond to any medical or safety concerns.

Their presence helped ensure that the celebration was not only joyful and memorable, but also safe and well-organized for everyone.

During the SAAD Cultural Competition 2026, the DRRM volunteers of Leganes National High School were on standby to help ensure the safety and security of the performers, staff, and audience. The team actively monitored the venue, assisted in crowd management, and remained prepared to respond to any emergencies.

Their dedication and readiness played a vital role in the smooth and safe conduct of the cultural competition, highlighting the DRRM Club’s commitment to service, preparedness, and community support.

On January 26, 2025, the DRRM Club Medics volunteers participated in the opening salvo of the Saad Festival, providing first aid assistance to ensure the safety of all participants from our school.

On January 25, 2026, in preparation for the Saad Festival opening salvo, some of the DRRM officers and members conducted a basic first aid refresher and training session for volunteers who will serve as medics during the event.

𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 , together with its volunteers, actively participated in the Child Protection Mass Reorientation last January 19, 2026. They provided first aid services to all participants, demonstrating their commitment to safety and child protection.
