Today, we remember the courage and unity shown during the EDSA People Power Revolution, a moment when ordinary Filipinos came together to stand up for freedom and democracy.
40 years ago, on February 25, 1986, millions of Filipinos gathered along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, not with weapons, but with prayers, hope, and an unwavering belief that change was possible. Students, workers, parents, religious leaders, and countless others stood side by side, proving that the strength of a nation lies in its people.
As we commemorate this day, may we carry the spirit of EDSA in our daily lives. May we choose courage over silence, truth over fear, and unity over division. The story of EDSA lives on in each generation, reminding us that our voices matter and that together, we can shape a better future.
