📢 RA 10398 at RA 9262: Laban sa Karahasan

RA 10398: Itinatag ang National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Children tuwing Nobyembre 25. Paalala ito na ang pagsugpo sa karahasan ay hindi lamang sa pagtigil nito, kundi sa edukasyon para maiwasan ito. Hinihikayat ang lahat na maglunsad ng mga aktibidad para itaas ang kamalayan laban sa karahasan. 💡 Ano ang magagawa mo upang suportahan ang mga biktima ng karahasan?

RA 9262: Ang Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 ay naglalayong protektahan ang kababaihan at mga bata mula sa pisikal, emosyonal, sekswal, sikolohikal, at pinansyal na pang-aabuso. Sa ilalim nito, maaaring humingi ng Barangay Protection Order o Temporary Protection Order ang mga biktima upang masiguro ang kanilang kaligtasan. 💬 Alamin ang proseso ng Barangay Protection Order sa inyong lugar at maging bahagi ng solusyon.

Ang pagbabago ay nagsisimula sa bawat isa. Sama-sama nating wakasan ang karahasan laban sa kababaihan at kabataan. Sa pagkilos at malasakit, magagawa nating magbuo ng isang lipunang ligtas at pantay para sa lahat. 🧡

Every November 25, we mark the National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Children, as declared in Republic Act 10398. This law emphasizes the importance of raising awareness about violence and working toward its eradication.

Today, we kick off the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women. This is more than just a call—it’s a commitment to creating a society where women can live free from fear. Over the next 12 days, we will share laws, stories, and steps we can all take to end violence against women.

𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 must turn into 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Share resources, educate your peers, and call out harmful behaviors that perpetuate abuse. Together, we can create a society that respects and protects women and children. 🧡
