This contemporary retail space is thoughtfully designed to celebrate and elevate handcrafted shoes from Marikina, a city long recognized as the shoe capital of the Philippines. The interior concept blends modern minimalism with local craftsmanship, creating a refined environment that highlights the artistry and heritage behind each pair.

The feature wall showcases a rhythmic composition of vertical wooden panels with integrated LED lighting, serving as a curated backdrop for the footwear. Each display acts like a gallery niche, emphasizing the fine details, textures, and craftsmanship of Marikina-made shoes—turning every product into a statement piece.

With four bedrooms, every inch of space is maximized to create a home that feels open and efficient. Clever layouts, built-in storage, and multi-purpose areas ensure that the family has room to move, gather, and grow. The roof deck adds an extra space for relaxation, perfect for enjoying fresh air and city views.

What makes this project even more special is how amazed the client was that all their space requirements fit perfectly within such a compact lot. Bahay Hiraya is not just a house—it’s a dream turned into reality, proving that size doesn’t limit what a home can be.
