INFLATION………… Ano ba ito?

Have you ever come across with this word? If so, naintindihan mo ba kung ano ito.

In a nutshell, inflation is the price increase of commodity. Ito ay ang pagtaas ng presyo ng bilihin……... Natandaan mo ba dati kung magkano ang presyo ng paborito mong pandesal (isaisip mo na lang baka malaman ang age mo…. ), di ba dati eh Php 0.50 cents lang, sa panahon ngayon eh may Php 1.00, Php 2.00 at sa iba eh Php5.00 pa.

So what’s the effect of this inflation to us, common people. Simple, our money is losing its purchasing power. Ang perang hawak natin ay nawawalan unti unti ng halaga. Let’s go back with my example. If you have Php 20.00 you can buy 40 pcs pandesal before sa price na php 0.50 while now, with the same amount, your Php 20.00 can only buy 20 pcs of pandesal for a price of php 1.00. In this case pa lang eh 50% na ang ibinaba agad.

Now that we know about inflation and how it affect us…. what’s next?..... The key is to make your money fight against inflation by investing your money in an instrument that will give you better returns say 10%.
