March 13, 2026- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center Lopez, participated in the joint price monitoring conducted in all gasoline stations in Lopez, Quezon. The Joint Inspection team was composed of the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), representative from Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Negosyo Center Lopez to ensure that fuel retailers are comply with existing regulations and properly implementing the prevailing prices.

The activity aimed to monitor the prices of petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, diesel plus, diesel max, unleaded, premium and kerosene, and to verify that gasoline stations observe proper price display in accordance with consumer protection policies and fair-trade practices.

During the inspection, the team visited all gasoline stations within the municipality of Lopez to record and validate the current fuel prices being offered to consumers, while also reminding operators to maintain transparency in price display and comply with applicable regulations.

This initiative highlights the continued collaboration among government agencies in promoting fair-trade practices and protecting consumer welfare in the municipality.
