To our new Rodean Doctors, we've seen you take root in the early years of your DVM journey — some beginning with uncertainty, some with passion in their eyes, but all with burning persistence in their hearts. We've seen you through years of sleepless nights, cramming for multiple exams, surgeries, and presentations for the days ahead. We've seen you struggle to balance your classes with your graveyard-shift part-time jobs.

And even for the things we weren't able to see — the fears you dared not share and the tears you kept behind closed doors, we want you to know that we, your UPRC family, are so proud of you for the well deserved three stripes!

As you leave the grounds of our university, may you carry with you the lessons you learned throughout your journey to becoming Doctors of Veterinary Medicine. May you always uphold honor and excellence, and use them to serve the people and our country.

​Writing this for our favorite independent gurly na kayang pagsabayin ang acads at ang pagiging kaladkarin sa gala! Salamat sa pag-survive sa atin mula sa puyatan sa org works hanggang sa gulo ng rodeo at mga galang kung san san tayo dinadala.

Thank you for being the perfect mix of "cute but lowkey matapang" and for always understanding our chaos.

𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀 📸: In the legacy of 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀-𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲, six Rodeans were given the opportunity to attend the 𝗩𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, last May 1-2, 2026 held at SM Aura.

These moments capture their journey of learning, connection, and growth alongside fellow future veterinarians.

The UPRC extends its sincere thanks to Doctor Laureen Vicente for making this experience possible. Their support continues to open doors and empower aspiring veterinarians to pursue excellence.
