GOOD NEWS OUR DEAR COCONUT FARMERS!
We are pleased to inform you that last March 30, 2026, the signing of ‎Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Coconut Hybridization Program (CHP) - Communal Nursery Establishment @ Maragatas, Lupon, Davao Oriental was conducted .

‎ The MOA was signed by Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Davao Oriental, Acting Division Chief, Leah Caballero and Acting Senior Agriculturist, Jonelito Vicente Jr, together with Municipal Agriculturist of Lupon, Davao Oriental Renante L. Prudente and Barangay Captain, Beverly Rebalde. ‎The activity was witnessed by the Brgy Councilor committee on Agriculture, Marivic Prudente and Functionaries, Brgy Assigned Technician, Jacob Elizer Clapano and Maragatas Farmers Association (MAFA) President, Rodeno Papuran. Through the efforts of Ms. Meraflor Florida - CDO Lupon.

‎ A solidified collaboration of implementers and farmers for the betterment of coconut farming. Putting efforts to secure "masaganang ani at kita" through hybridization.

A stepping stone to modern agriculture, not only in barangay Maragatas, but throughout the entirety of the Municipality of Lupon.
