An Applied Psychology sophomore from UPDEPPO is humbly asking for support as their father, Mr. Geraldo Cabusao Lopez (61), continues his recovery after a hemorrhagic stroke and major head surgery.

For the past month, he has been confined at AUF Medical Center and has undergone critical care. While he is now stable and cleared for discharge, the family is facing overwhelming hospital bills and the cost of essential medical equipment needed for his recovery at home.

In this difficult time, we are knocking on your kind hearts. Any amount, no matter how small, can help ease their burden and support his healing journey.

ANNOUNCEMENT | Leave of Absence

This is to inform the UPDEPPO community that, effective April 27 until May 15, 2026,the following members of the UP Diliman Extension Programs in Pampanga and Olongapo Student Council have filed for Leave of Absence (LOA) to participate in the upcoming 2026 Student Council Elections.
Student council officers who have filed for LOA shall be temporarily relieved of their duties and responsibilities within the Student Council to prevent any conflict of interest.

Meanwhile, incumbent USC officers will uphold impartiality throughout the election period and will coordinate closely with the Student Electoral Board (SEB).

The UP Diliman Extension Programs in Pampanga and Olongapo Student Council has designated Officers-in-Charge (OICs) to assume the responsibilities of vacated positions during the Leave of Absence period. These appointments cover both Standard Bearer and Councilor roles to ensure continuity in leadership and operations.

The UPDEPPO Student Council remains steadfast in serving the interests of the student body and in advancing the struggles of the basic masses, recognizing that these extend beyond, and are deeply connected to, student life and leadership within the university.
