The beast in them is sleeping, not dead.

For some of us, life didn’t offer a head start. No wealthy parents to lean on, no inheritance waiting in the wings, no silver spoon. We had to fight tooth and nail—enduring sleepless nights, hard work, and heartache—to carve out a path for ourselves. So when we take a moment to celebrate even the smallest of wins, it’s because we’ve known defeat since the day we first opened our eyes. Every little victory reminds us just how far we’ve come.

They say experience is the best teacher, but that wisdom comes with a twist. It's not just living through moments that teaches us; it's pausing to evaluate and reflect on those experiences that truly makes them the best lessons in life.
Do not be afraid to ask why.

On Pope Francis' Ignatian Transformation
"Francis is also enduring a calvary and even a brutal rejection from some within the Church, including cardinals, for standing by the poorest and marginalized, for engaging in dialogue with everyone, for taking to the streets, for defending the role of women in the Church, for fighting against unchecked capitalism, for reaching out to the youth, for blessing same-sex couples, and, in short, for preaching the Gospel. Like Arrupe, who was falsely accused of being a Marxist, Francis is Christ-centered, a Jesuit without chauvinism, open to fraternal ecclesiastical collaboration with other religious communities, the diocesan clergy, secular institutions, other churches, and even unbelievers—always without dogmatism, with simplicity and equality. In my opinion, Francis, like Arrupe, has surely experienced enlightenment, transforming from the serious and timid Cardinal Bergoglio to the smiling and charismatic Pope Francis. But above all, both will go down in history as men of intense inner life and Ignatian discernment."

You cannot save anyone. You can be present with them, offer your groundedness, your sanity, your peace. You can even share your path with them, and offer your perspective. But you cannot take away their pain. You cannot walk their path for them. You cannot give answers that are right for them, or even answers they can digest right now. They will have to find their own answers. ~Jeff Foster
After all, we are to find our own answers to our questions. And I am quite certain that some questions may not necessarily have answers. But, it is always good to ask even if answers are out of our reach. Questions are more important than answers, to be exact!
