ABNHS launches Buwan ng Pagbasa 2022

To ensure students’ commitment to reading, ABNHS highlights Buwan ng Pagbasa 2022 during the flag ceremony on Monday, November 7, at the school’s covered court.
The said activity featured storytelling written by Filipino authors and a small talk on the importance of reading.
The telling of story entitled Footnote to Youth by Jose Garia Villa was told by Nayumi Althiel Sangalang of grade 7 J P. Rizal as the student mystery reading ambassador while Ma’am Justin Joven, teacher mystery reading ambassador, spoke on the Bakit Nasa Ilalim ng Lupa ang Ginto.
“Start reading now!’ as Julinah Charize Cura speaks on the importance of reading.
This activity also became the first out-of-the-room performance of grade 7 J P. Rizal as they led the said ceremony emceed by Marry Joy Lansangan.
The activity correlates to the Memorandum DM-CI-2022-389, dated October 26, 2022, ensuring improved learners’ reading competency as one of the priorities in the Learning Recovery Plan of the Department of Education.
