On March 18, 2026 members of 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 and 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 had the opportunity to attend the 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧: 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙪𝙢 organized by Mabalacat City College in partnership with JCI Mabalacat Malasa.

The seminar featured insightful discussions from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Ms. Raine Bautista, and Mr. Jake Vitug. The DTI representative explained the business registration process, including the steps and requirements for starting a legal business, as well as other services and programs they offer to support aspiring entrepreneurs. Ms. Raine Bautista and Mr. Jake Vitug also shared their personal experiences, challenges, and success stories in entrepreneurship, emphasizing the importance of passion, perseverance, and continuous learning.

The experience served as a strong motivation for the team, as it provided both practical knowledge and inspiration. It strengthened our commitment to further develop our businesses and pursue our entrepreneurial journey with dedication and purpose.

The business groups 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 attended a workshop entitled “𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣.” The workshop aimed to help students enhance their knowledge of financial components which enable them to effectively manage business operations.

The program started with the welcome remarks of Ms. Geralyn A. Quiambao, YES Adviser which the audience followed by an inspirational message from Ms. Rebecca O. Lising, IBE Dean. She used a 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙗𝙨 𝙦𝙪𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙖 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧. She explained that innovation and creativity are important for entrepreneurs to succeed.

Ms. Rebecca O. Lising explained to the audience about the three main problems that most businesses face which include 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙨, 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨. She explained that these challenges are normal in business and should be 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚. She also reminded the students to be realistic when planning a business, and not rely only on optimism.

She delivered a presentation about the 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 which explained to students the 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 for starting a business.

A guest trainer who studies accounting presented a financial workshop for students who wanted to learn about business financial management. The session helped explain financial topics more clearly and helped the students improve their financial planning.

The workshop provided students with essential financial management skills together with knowledge about business challenges and legal requirements which they need to start and operate their businesses.

From all the planning, designing, and decorating to those sleepless nights of preparation—every effort truly paid off. Your creativity, teamwork, and dedication brought the vision to life and made your booth a true reflection of the theme.
