Leyte Baptist Seminary is one of the training arms of the Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches
Good day, everyone.
It is with great sorrow that we bring this news to you regarding Jared Dave Mistades, a student of Leyte Baptist Seminary from Dolongan.
On the night of May 18, 2026, their house was affected by a destructive fire that completely burned down the entire structure and everything inside it. As of this writing, no further updates or information have been provided.
With this, we humbly ask for your assistance through prayers and material or financial support. Announcements for S.Y. 2026-2027 📣
Academic Offered:
1. BASIC BIBLE COURSE (BBC)
a one year curriculum designed to equip students with fundamental doctrines of the Bible.
2. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION TRAINING CERTIFICATE (CETC)
a curriculum designed for lay leaders in our local churches who aspire to become effective preachers, teachers and motivators aiding and helping their pastors.
3. DIPLOMA IN BIBLE (DIB)
a one year curriculum designed for holders of Baccalaureate College degree who may enter the seminary for training and equipping in effectively assisting the leadership and ministry of the church.
4. BIBLE INSTITUTE DIPLOMA (BID)
a curriculum designed particularly for undergraduates (non-high school graduates) who could be admitted to the seminary.
5. BACHELOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (BRE)
a curriculum designed for students (at least High School graduates) who could accomplish the minimum required units of 150 and have obtained the required GPA of 2.25.
ADMISSION QUALIFICATIONS 📝
The applicant must show that he/she has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, as personal Savior and Lord, AT LEAST ONE YEAR before the current school year and has been living a consistent Christian life for Him. He/She must be a baptized member of a local church (preferably an AFBCP affiliate), actively participates in church activities, of good moral standing, and not involved in questionable practices. He/She must also be at least a high school graduate.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS🗒️:
1. Properly filled out Application Form (will be given upon enrollment)
2. Church recommendation duly signed by the pastor and church officers
3. Written personal testimony of salvation and/or calling
4. Medical certificate (recent)
5. NSO/PSA issued birth certificate
6. Application fee of P 50.00 (non-refundable)
7. Registration fee of P 100.00
8. Entrance fee of P 400.00
9. Form 138 or Transcript of Record or any equivalent
10. Two ID pictures (1x1 or 2x2)
