Conservation takes a village ๐Ÿค

Thanks to Quadratic Funding, your donation sends a huge signal that this work matters to the community. We are putting these funds toward community-based conservation, mapping, ocean literacy, amongst others.

If funds are tight, help us win by doing what money canโ€™t buy:
๐Ÿ’ฌ Share our story in your group chats.

What is Ma Earth? ๐ŸŒ

Ma Earth is a collective funding platform that supports community-led nature projects worldwideโ€”amplifying every donation through matching funds. This year, we're part of a $1,000,000 matching pool where we can unlock up to $15,000!

You don't have to be a scientist to help conserve our mangroves ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿ”Ž

Local communities already have the knowledge and the stake. With the right support, they lead the way in protecting what's theirs, because no one fights harder for a place than the people who call it home. These trainings bridge local wisdom and scientific researchโ€”putting community knowledge on the map.

๐Ÿ“ Citizen science is a key component within our Blue Roots Program, which we're currently raising funds for with Ma Earth!

Oceanus Conservation is part of Ma Earth Funding Round 3โ€”and we have a chance to unlock up to $15,000 in matching funds!

Here's the incredible part:
For every $๐Ÿญ you give, Ma Earth matches it up to $๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ.

But this isn't just about the money. It's about what you can support:

We've been doing this work since 2021 and we've rehabilitated 35 hectares of abandoned fishponds and established conservation agreements for ~400 hectares of mangroves and seagrass.

Now, we need ๐—ฌ๐—ข๐—จ to help us go deeper.

You don't have to give a lot. You just have to give. And share to invite people in.

Because when communities and supporters come togetherโ€”something magical happens.

Taรฑon Strait is the largest Marine Protected Area (MPA) in the Philippines. In October 2025, the containment structure of wastewater from Universal Robina Corporation-Sugar and Renewables Distillery collapsed. The industrial wastewater spilled directly into the waters of the protected seascape.

What followed was unstoppable damage โ€” mangroves, corals and seagrass died, fishkills were reported, and coastal communities lost their only source of income.

9 months after the spill, experts will present findings on the current state of the Taรฑon Strait, and communities will testify how their lives have been upended because of this environmental disaster.

Join us in an online public forum to learn what must be done, and who must be held accountable.
