From preparation to actual deployment!

UP Cebu Ugnayan Ng Pahinungód, in partnership with AHA Learning Center, organized a volunteer training at the UP Cebu AS Conference Hall last January 2026.

We were thrilled to see 26 passionate student volunteers from various colleges step up to the challenge, fully supported by 31 dedicated faculty and staff members! This training was specially designed to equip our volunteers for their Numeracy tutorial sessions with our partner, Barrio Luz Elementary School.

The training is already bearing fruit! The tutorial program officially launched last February 4, and these amazing volunteers are now teaching and guiding students every Wednesday afternoon. ➕➖

The learning crisis is a massive challenge, but it's one we can tackle together. It truly takes the support of everyone—students, educators, partners, and the whole community—to build a brighter future for our learners. Thank you for your commitment to addressing this crisis.
