TVI Resource Development Phils. Inc. said it is integrating a 5.3-megawatt-peak solar power facility into the Siana Gold Project in Surigao del Norte, with the installation expected to supply about 16% of the processing plant’s energy requirements and cut more than 4,100 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. The company said the project forms part of its broader push to align mining operations with cleaner and more reliable energy solutions.

(TVIRD) rolled out 42 Smart TVs to six national high schools in Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur, expanding support for public education through digital learning tools under its Social Development and Management Program, allowing teachers to integrate videos, presentations, and interactive materials into lessons while improving student engagement and access to instructional content, with Community Relations Officer Meriam O. Embate saying the initiative enhances class participation and aligns with education priorities, as the company continues to support schools alongside its Balabag Gold-Silver Project operations.
