The National External Quality Assessment Scheme (NEQAS) is one of the measures of Department of Health (DOH) in monitoring the reliability of a laboratory. It evaluates the performance of participating laboratories by assessing the integrity of the entire testing from sample receipt to releasing of test results. This would allow comparison of the laboratory's testing to the performance of a peer group and/or the national reference laboratory. They usually send panels that consist of a combination of positive and negative samples that are designed to mimic the actual samples.

As always, we're proud to comply and consistent with our excellent performance in the proficiency test for almost 9 years now 😍🎉🥳
