WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY!!
Sa pagdiriwang ng World Oral Health Day, pinaaalalahanan tayo kung gaano kahalaga ang pangangalaga sa ating bibig mula pagkabata hanggang pagtanda.
Ang simpleng pagsisimula nang maaga, paggamit ng fluoride toothpaste, tamang pagsisipilyo at pagfa-floss, pagkain ng masusustansyang pagkain, at pag-inom ng sapat na tubig ay makatutulong upang mapanatiling malinis at matibay ang ating mga ngipin.
Iwasan din ang labis na matatamis na pagkain at inumin na maaaring makasira sa ngipin. Higit sa lahat, huwag kalimutang magpatingin nang regular sa dentista upang maagapan ang anumang problema.
Tandaan, ang malusog na bibig ay susi sa pangkalahatang kalusugan—kaya simulan natin ang tamang pag-aalaga ngayon para sa mas maliwanag at masayang ngiti bukas!

BULACAN CHAPTER
Commission on Elections 2026
Filing for incoming Officers for 2026-2027 is now open. The PDA Bulacan Chapter Commission on Elections is headed by:
• Chairman: Dr. Marie Sheila Ochoco Padilla
• 2nd Member: Dr. Rebecca Santiago
• 3rd Member: Dr. Ma Winnie Ignacio
QUALIFICATIONS FOR CANDIDATES
1. Active Membership Requirement:
◦ A candidate must be an active member, must have paid membership fees for both the Philippine Dental Association, Inc. and the Bulacan Chapter.for three consecutive years: 2023-2024, 2024-2025, and 2025-2026.
2. Member in Good Standing (Article 6 Sec. 2 of the Amended CBL):
◦ Paid Chapter and PDA dues for three consecutive years.
◦ Actively participated in at least two (2) chapter programs, seminars/webinars, outreach programs, or other undertakings within 2025-2026 AY (must present Certificate of Participation or Attendance as proof).
◦ Possess a valid and updated PRC ID.
3. Position-Specific Requirements for President-Elect:
◦ Must be an ACTIVE MEMBER for three (3) consecutive years.
◦ Must be a Member in Good Standing (refer to requirement no. 2).
◦ Must have served as an elected officer for at least two (2) years in the past four (4) years (please submit proof)
GUIDELINES FOR PDA HOD OFFICIAL DELEGATE CANDIDATES
To qualify as a candidate for Official Delegate of the PDA Bulacan Chapter, the following requirements must be met:
1. Must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) and the PDA Bulacan Chapter.
2. Must have attended at least two (2)
seminars conducted by the PDA Bulacan Chapter.
3. Must be a Past President of the PDA
Bulacan Chapter.
4. Must be a duly paid member of both the
PDA National and the PDA Bulacan
Chapter.
FILING PROCEDURE FOR CANDIDATES
1. CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY (COC):
◦ ONLY PDA BULACAN COMELEC-ISSUED COCs SHALL BE ACCEPTED FOR FILING.
2. FILING PERIOD:
◦ January 30, 2026 – February 3, 2026
3. FILING & VALIDATION PROCESS:
◦ File in the presence of any Comelec member.
◦ Final roster of candidates shall be validated and approved by the full Comelec body before taking an oath.
4. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
◦ Fully accomplished COC with recent passport-sized photo and signatures of all Comelec members.
◦ Original and photocopy of Certificate of Good Standing (issued within the last 6 months).
◦ PRC ID photocopy.
◦ Other pertinent documents.
5. OATH OF CANDIDACY:
◦ Date: February 3, 2026
◦ Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 NN
◦ Venue: KADEBU Office, Malolos City
7. CAMPAIGN PERIOD:
◦ Starts immediately after successful filing and oath taking of candidacy.
◦ Ends on March 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
