CANDY FOR A CAUSE: SUCCESS

We, the iCandy Boulevard crew, came through with our plan of giving away free food to our fellow Filipinos in need. The long walk along the streets of McArthur Highway was surely worth it when we saw the happiness in their eyes.

In addition to helping people outside of the campus, the iCandy Boulevard team, along with Pika-Pika Choose and Fingrrr’s Directors, Raiven Abdala and Cheska Estrada, also distributed food for CEIS guards, construction workers, and even Grab Riders, in commemoration of the Labor Day last Monday.

For transparency purposes: In this project, there were 31 recipients of iCandy Boulevard’s Candy for a Cause, wherein we’ve given away 6 rice meals bought from Lioming’s Rice Noodles Corner with 5 bottles of water, 8 Pancit cantons with an egg from Pika-Pika Choose, 8 Mojos with Garlic Mayo from Fingrrr, and 7 more bottles of water.
