Rizal never thought his words would become popular. He was a pre-med student who loved to write, sharing essays about social justice, history, and culture. One day, his posts started spreading online, and soon, people began calling him a modern thinker.

Leonor, on the other hand, was gaining attention for her music. She shared song covers on TikTok, and her soft, emotional voice touched many people. Music was her way of expressing herself.

They met in a private Discord server for young writers, artists, and thinkers. Rizal, using the name ElFiliKing, often shared his opinions. Leonor, known as NoliQueen, usually just read along—until one night, she replied to one of Rizal’s posts about art and society.

One reply turned into a conversation. That conversation became a habit.

Soon, they were chatting every night, sharing their thoughts about life, dreams, and the world. Rizal admired Leonor’s passion for music, while Leonor was drawn to Rizal’s deep ideas. Over time, their words became more personal—jokes, compliments, and quiet confessions.

They had never met, but their connection felt real.

Then, everything changed.

Leonor’s parents had strict beliefs. They didn’t approve of Rizal, seeing him as someone with too many opinions and not enough stability. When they found out about the relationship, they quickly sent Leonor to study abroad.

No warning. No goodbye.

Just silence.

Rizal tried to reach her. He sent messages, emails, even made new accounts—but he was blocked everywhere. It was as if she had disappeared from his world.

For the first time, he had no words.

Just like before in history, their love ended—not with a goodbye, but with distance and silence.
