IN PHOTOS: Highlights of the last day of the 1st National Environmental Youth Leaders’ Summit (NEYLS) 2026 on April 24 showcase a meaningful blend of environmental action and culminating activities, marking the successful conclusion of the three-day gathering of youth leaders.

The 1st National Environmental Youth Leaders’ Summit (NEYLS) 2026 concluded on April 24 with a meaningful final day that emphasized hands-on environmental action and collective reflection among youth participants.

The morning session featured a “nature encounter” activity, where more than 170 students and youth leaders took part in various field-based initiatives. These included information and education campaigns, mangrove planting, sea ranching, coastal clean-up, and coastal bird watching—providing participants with practical experiences in environmental conservation and community engagement.

Through these activities, delegates were able to apply the knowledge gained from previous sessions while fostering a deeper appreciation for marine and coastal ecosystems.

The summit will culminate in the afternoon with a closing program that includes the awarding of participants and partner organizations, messages from key officials, and impression messages from selected youth delegates. The activity aims to recognize contributions, celebrate shared accomplishments, and reflect on the learnings gathered throughout the three-day event.
