RAY de Manila

On March 1, 2026, RAY de Manila gathered as one community for a meaningful Lenten Recollection, titled “Ang Dakilang Pagsagip: Si Hesus at ang Ating Kaligtasan.” A day of prayer, reflection, and renewal. ✨

This Lent, we are reminded that salvation is not just a list of rules or traditions, but a living relationship with Jesus who took upon Himself our sins, shame, and condemnation. In a world facing crises of meaning, technology, and identity, young people often struggle between reality and the digital world, pressured by comparison, academic expectations, and the search for validation. Yet hope remains, just as in the story of Pandora’s box, hope is what God leaves us to hold on to.

We are called to anchor our identity in Christ, to see life as broad and beautiful, and not be trapped by past wounds, toxic relationships, or the narrowness of self. Lent is a time of fasting, abstinence, and self-denial, but more importantly, it is a time of conversion: to mortify ourselves, to cooperate with God’s grace, and to rediscover that man is naturally good, created for holiness.

As St. Augustine said, “When you are close to God, you are close to grace.” Let us draw near to Him this season, for in the Cross we find meaning, value, freedom, and salvation.

Jesus is the solution to all.
