The Black Nazarene Festival, also known as the Feast of the Black Nazarene, is an annual religious event in the Philippines that attracts millions of devotees. An interesting fun fact about this festival is the intense devotion and participation of the devotees during the procession. Devotees, often barefoot, walk alongside the carriage bearing the Black Nazarene statue, and many believe that touching or being close to the statue during the procession brings blessings and miracles.

One notable tradition associated with the festival is the "Pahalik" or the act of kissing the image of the Black Nazarene. Devotees line up for hours, sometimes even overnight, to get a chance to touch or kiss the revered statue. The intense fervor and dedication exhibited by the participants reflect the deep faith and religious devotion that characterize the Black Nazarene Festival. The event not only holds religious significance but also serves as a powerful cultural and communal expression of faith among the Filipino Catholic community.
