🎃 Happy Halloween, everyone!🎃

Saturday was probably the best day of my entire tatting career. 🤍

After 3 essentially failed markets, I was about ready to quit doing events, but someone posted that a kid's theatre group was looking for vendors to sell items in the lobby during their shows that weekend, with no vendor fee! 🤯 So, even though it was only a few days away, I had plenty of stock leftover from the last fair I did, (I only sold 2 items) and I signed up for both Saturday shows. My previous sales record at events I believe was 3, and between both the shows, I sold triple that amount.

Is that a crazy amount? For me, yes, though I'm sure some of y'all still think that's sad. Am I financially set now for months? Absolutely not. 😂 But, in roughly the same time frame as each of the 3 previous markets I'd done, I actually made a profit, and I didn't have to set up tables and a tent, and I didn't have to sit in the heat for multiple hours. 😮

The main difference this made for me was realizing I just need to find the right setting and a more targeted audience to find people who appreciate my work. I also learned that there are things that I should have more of that I don't prefer to make (split-ring jewelry for example), and different sizes of things where possible.

It was such a great experience and meeting people there was so fun too. ☺️ Hoping to be a vendor for again sooner rather than later! 😁

I've been crazy busy moving and working a new part-time job this month, so I apologize for being AWOL!😅 BUT, I'm super excited to be doing this art market today with my sister-in-law - gonna be a good time!
