HOW DO I JOIN THIS ONLINE PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE?
1. In the comments section of this post, upload your chosen photos to qualify.
2. You may upload up to 3 photos
3. Entries may include photos from 2015 onward
4. Any image ratio will do
4. Add context: Share your gear and settings
5. Share your story behind the shot
6. Add these hashtags:

On February 28, the top 20 photos will be announced and the top 5 photographers will be contacted and given prizes c/o our good friends from Nikon and will be invited to PiPho's March Monthly Meeting. :)

🥇 Gold at the Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA)! 🌋

I am beyond thrilled to announce that I have won my first Gold Award at the Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA)! This is an incredibly special milestone as it is my very first year joining this prestigious competition.

My winning piece, "Taal Volcano’s Monochrome Embrace," was captured using a Full Spectrum converted Canon 80D. This setup allowed me to go beyond the visible light spectrum to capture the ethereal, silvery textures of the crater in a way the human eye normally cannot see.

Beyond the Gold, I am deeply honored to have earned several other recognitions this year:

•⁠ ⁠7 Honorable Mentions

To have 12 of my works recognized by the TIFA jury in a single year is a dream come true. Thank you to Lilian, Leica, Claire and everyone who has supported my creative journey and my technical experiments with infrared and full-spectrum photography!
