Intramuros & Rizal's Bagumbayan Light & Sound Museum The IRB-LSM is the centerpiece project of the "Visit Philippines 2003".

In observance of Eid al-Adha, the Intramuros and Rizal’s Bagumbayan Light and Sound Museum will be closed on May 27, 2026, and will resume operations on May 28, 2026.

On May 26, 1609, forced labor among Filipino males was introduced in the Philippines under early Spanish colonial rule, forming part of the polo y servicio system required men aged 16 to 60 to provide unpaid labor such as roads, bridges, and churches for a set number of days each year under Spanish colonial rule.

Noong Mayo 26, 1609, ipinakilala ang sapilitang paggawa para sa mga lalaking Pilipino sa Pilipinas sa ilalim ng maagang pananakop ng mga Espanyol, bilang bahagi ng sistemang polo y servicio. Inaatasan ng sistemang ito ang mga lalaking may edad 16 hanggang 60 na magbigay ng libreng paggawa tulad ng kalsada, tulay, at simbahan sa loob ng itinakdang bilang ng mga araw bawat taon sa panahon ng kolonyang Espanyol.
