A very opinionated post:

I really think early to mid 2000s is the *Golden Age* of power metal. Best albums of the best bands came out on that era, Kamelot, Nightwish, Angra, Edguy, SA, Dream Evil... list goes on, though I am more akin to the classical laced power metal. Anyways this is one of those awesome album at that era. Bands catalog is superb also.
