Origin:
The Hour of Grace is connected to reported apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Sister Pierina Gilli in 1947 in Montichiari, Italy.

Message attributed to Our Lady to Sister Pierina:

“It is my wish that every year, on 8th December, at noon, the Hour of Grace for the world be celebrated.”

“Many divine and bodily graces will be received through this devotion.”

“Our Lord, my Divine Son Jesus, will send His overflowing mercy if good people will pray continuously for their sinful brother.”

“It is my wish that the Hour of Grace for the world be made known and spread throughout the world.”

“If anyone is unable to visit his church, yet will pray at home, he will also receive graces through me.”

“Will find a secure heavenly ladder and receive protection and grace through my motherly heart.”

“Our Lady promised she will hear any prayer we make at this time.”

Requests associated with the Hour of Grace:

1. Day and Time:
December 8, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.

2. Dispositions:
During this hour, the person must put away all distractions.
Do not answer the telephone, door, or engage in any activities.
Total concentration should be in union with God.

3. Opening Prayer:
Begin the Hour of Grace by praying Psalm 51 three times with outstretched arms.

4. Remaining Time:
-The rest of the hour may be spent in:

-silent communication with God

-meditating on the Passion of Jesus

-praying the Holy Rosary

-praising God in one’s own way

-using favorite prayers

-singing hymns

-meditating on other psalms

Have mercy on me, God, in your goodness; in your abundant compassion blot out my offence.

Make Zion prosper in your good pleasure; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

Then you will be pleased with proper sacrifice, burnt offerings and holocausts; then bullocks will be offered on your altar.

Mag-5s kontra Dengue:
•Search and destroy mosquito-breeding sites
•Seek immediate consultation sa oras na makaranas ng mga nasabing sintomas
•Say no to indiscriminate fogging o ang paggamit ng spray na nagpapaalis lamang sa mga lamok at hindi pumupuksa sa mga itlog at kitikiti.
•Self-protection measures sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng mga mahahabang damit, light-colored na damit, at pagpahid ng mosquito repellant.
•Sustain hydration sa pamamagitan ng pag-inom ng sapat na tubig upang maiwasan ang dehydration na dulot ng lagnat o pagsusuka kung may sakit na dengue.

- Mataas na lagnat sa loob ng 2 hanggang 7 araw
- Pananakit ng kalamnan at kasukasuan
- Panghihina
- Pagkawala ng ganang kumain
- Pamumula ng balat
- Pananakit ng tyan at pagsusuka
- Pagdurugo ng ilong at gilagid
