One of the earliest milestones happens incredibly fast.

👶 Around 5–6 weeks of pregnancy, the tiny cluster of cells that will become the heart begins to beat rhythmically.

💓 At this stage:
• the heart isn’t fully formed
• it’s more like a simple tube
• but it’s already pumping blood through the embryo

🔍 Most parents don’t even know they’re pregnant yet — but the heartbeat has already begun.

By 8 weeks, the heartbeat becomes strong enough to see on an early ultrasound.
