Today, on the First Sunday of the civil New Year, we celebrate The Epiphany of the Lord (主顯節). In this Solemnity, we celebrate the visit of the wise men and the manifestation of Jesus' kingship to all the nations. We are blessed that with this celebration, we, who are Gentiles, are called to participate in the life with God through Jesus Christ. Let us treasure this blessing and resolve to be faithful to the Lord always.

Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord - January 02, 2022 - Liturgical Calendar Today the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Epiphany.

Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. John, Apostle & Evangelist (聖若望宗徒（聖史）慶日). St. John is known as the Beloved Disciple. In the Gospel attributed to him, he is referred to as the disciple that Jesus loved, and in his letters, he wrote about the love of God for us and how we are also all called to love God. Let us listen to his teaching of love and live this love in our lives.

Feast of Saint John, Apostle and evangelist - December 27, 2021 - Liturgical Calendar Today is the third day in the Octave of Christmas. The Church celebrates the Feast of St. John, Apostle and evangelist. Born in Bethsaida, he was called while mending his nets to follow Jesus. He became the beloved disciple of Jesus. He wrote the fourth Gospel, three Epistles and the Apocalypse.

On this Third Sunday of Advent, we see the people's reaction to St. John the Baptist's "voice in the desert". St. John the Baptist told them to share what they have and to stop the evil that they were doing. The same call continues to echo to us today. We are called again and again to prepare for God's coming to our hearts. Have we done our best to do so?

Today, on the Second Sunday of Advent, we hear of St. John the Baptist fulfilling the words of the prophet Isaiah. Let us also prepare our hearts for the coming of our Lord so that he may reside in our hearts all the days of our lives.
